Wireless Network Watcher 1.55 - See who's in your network

Wireless networks have been having an exponential growth. Increasingly are preferred to older cable networks and greatly limit mobility within the spaces where they are implemented. Associated with these wireless networks is always the concern of security and misuse by third parties due to the absence of physical barriers to contain its signal and its spread.

The simplest way to check for unauthorized users within these networks is to consult the equipment that provide access and look for MAC addresses that are not known. This process can be cumbersome and not always possible to achieve. To help you in this task, there is now a tool, Wireless Network Watcher.

The Wireless Network Watcher, another tool developed by Nirsoft, allows to verify the existence of computers within a wireless network. The research is done by assigning IP addresses within that network's and all equipment are presented that are detected.

The only charge that Wireless Network Watcher makes is that its users are connected to the wireless network you wish to audit. Just being connected is it possible to Wireless Network Watcher verify the presence of other machines within that network.

This tool does an insistent search within the network where they are attached, they should whenever they wish, start this search process. It is a tool to be used whenever there are suspicious unauthorized users within your network.

The information displayed in the main interface consists of data that is possible to withdraw from your network and are the IP address, device name, Mac address, the name of the manufacturer of the wireless card and some additional information.

All information that Wireless Network Watcher offers can be exported to various file formats. This way they can analyze the information collected later.

The implement double click on any entry that is submitted can give you the same information that is presented, but in a format easier to read through a specific window.

The Wireless Network Watcher also allows defining which interface intend to use to detect devices on the network. Simply accessing the settings and they select the card you want.

Use the Wireless Network Watcher periodically to check who's in your network and thus detect possible intruders. Once they have access to the Mac address of the PC you want to simply ban access the router that provides wireless access and apply a filter to deny access to that address.

The Wireless Network Watcher you do not provide any additional security, but allows them to validate that they have applied is to be respected and that is strong enough to keep unwanted visitors out of your wireless network.
